Tool access

Which other programs on this machine may drive PandaOS tools.

This is not about what Panda may do

That is Permissions. This tab is about other software on your machine reaching in.

Outside programs

Other apps, editors and scripts can drive PandaOS tools over a local port. This tab decides whether they may, and it covers every tool rather than one feature.

Locked turns it off entirely. Require a token leaves it open but only to a caller that presents the token, which is the setting to use if you want an editor extension to reach PandaOS without leaving the port open to anything else running on the machine.
